Ms. Hawaii left some vegan shampoo in my shower. After her ebullient tour of the Gem State, I am left with an impoverished resolve to get my business in order. With no discretionary income to afford toiletries this week, I used said biorganic hair tonic, which triggered an olfactory revelation as to who I was in college on a Spring afternoon in the morning of my independence.
Thus began my quest for fresh air, which I touched upon just yesterday, skate skiing on corduroy, ironically groomed by big oil, across a meadow gleaming with billions of snow crystals. The air was intoxicatingly delicious. The dogs were joyful, and loyal in their return at speed, celebrating their gait. The feast afterwards at Smiley Creek Lodge was a welcome indulgence, especially the Egredine Nutcake which might have been named Ode to Caramel.

I want to help people. I'm not decided on whether to immerse myself in the petrie dish of a school community and teach which age group? or to become medically trained to deal with emergencies and hospice. I do want a comfortably joyful retirement and the opportunity to fish for trout all summer. I also want to build a splendidly functional kitchen in which to assemble delectable meals of communion in the glorious evenings that remain. That's all for now.
